  • Mara Purcell

  • Mara Purcell grew up in Houston and went on to attend the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where she received a Bachelor of Arts in both Print Journalism and Gender Studies. Ms. Purcell returned to Houston to earn her Doctor of Jurisprudence from University of Houston Law Center. She was admitted to practice law in Texas in 2007.

    While in law school, Ms. Purcell served as an intern in Harris County Probate Court Number One where she developed an interest in the practice areas of probate, guardianships and estate planning. She has also worked in the legal department for an international oil services company, clerked for a small firm handling family law and was a student attorney at Lone Star Legal Aid.

    After starting her legal career with a small firm in the Clear Lake Area, Ms. Purcell opened her own practice to concentrate on advising parents of disabled children in the Houston area. Ms. Purcell is a board member of the Disability and Elder Law Attorneys Association and is a member of the Probate Section of the Houston Bar Association and the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates.

  • Eduardo T. Saucedo

  • Eduardo T. Saucedo grew up in Laredo, Texas. He went on to attend Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration. After deciding to pursue further studies in law, Mr. Saucedo attended the South Texas College of Law where he graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2006. He was licensed to practice law in Texas the same year.

    While completing his studies at the South Texas College of Law, Mr. Saucedo worked as a law clerk for the Harris County Hospital District as well as Probate Court Number One of Harris County. It was during this time that he gained interest in Probate, Guardianship and Health law.

    Mr. Saucedo is now a partner at Purcell & Saucedo, PLLC in Houston, Texas where he focuses on matters pertaining to Probate and Guardianship law, Estate Administration, Estate and Special Needs Planning, Healthcare law and civil litigation.

    Mr. Saucedo is a member of Disability and Elder Law Attorneys Association (DELAA), Mexican American Bar Association of Houston (MABAH), Texas Organization of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (TOPAA), Houston Bar Association, State Bar of Texas and a Parishioner at St. Anne Catholic Church.
